"I dream of painting and then I paint my dream"

In order to feel as if you can paint anything, anytime, means you need to have your own painting space. I feel that this is so important for artists. I recently finished furnishing my studio which I am lucky to have at my home, which I share with my boyfriend Sean and our dog Henry.
I haven't yet finished decorating the walls, but I have enough art up that I feel cozy as soon as I sit down to draw or paint. I am a firm believer of hanging things in your studio that inspire you or work you have made that makes you proud.
PLEASE- do NOT add any of these pictures on your Pinterest, weheartit, or anything similar without my permission. I am aware that it's fun to do so, and I myself am on Pinterest, but I never steal pictures from people's blogs or art work. It is personal and copyrighted by them.

The Frida Kahlo poster is from the Modern Museum in Stockholm, Sweden where I am originally born and raised. Yes, my life story is long and I will go into it on a different post. The two Pippi Longstocking pieces are from an Etsy store I purchased them from, called ScandiVintage. She lives in the same small town in Sweden that my father and grand parents live.
Anyway, I love spending time in this room. It's me, and it's mine.
